The next episode of the twenty-first-century anime version of Sorcerous Stabber Orphen -Chaos in Urbanrama- will air in January 2023. For those interested, the fantasy action show now has a teaser clip and image.
Following 2020’s Sorcerous Stabber Orphen and 2021’s Sorcerous Stabber Orphen: Battle of Kimluck, 2022 brings us Sorcerous Stabber Orphen: Chaos in Urbanrama, the third instalment in the Sorcerous Stabber Orphen series. New series composer Kenji Konuta joins returning members of the creative team, director Takayuki Hamana and animation studio Studio DEEN.
Yoshinobu Akita’s light novel series, Sorcerous Stabber Orphen, was first published in 1994; Yuuya Kusaka drew the accompanying illustrations. It was made in honour of the 25th anniversary of light novels.
Fujimi Shobo ceased publication of the series, which comprised numerous collections of short stories, in 2003. TO Entertainment released an all-new Sorcerous Stabber Orphen series in 2011.
Sorcerous Stabber Orphen: The Wayward Journey is the original title, and J Novel Club has this to say about it:

Sorcerer Orphen abandoned his studies at the illustrious Tower of Fangs. He has travelled to Totokanta on a mission to rescue Azalie, a girl he thinks of as a sister. They have not seen each other in five years, but here they are together again. But why did she become so horrible, and what mysteries does the Sword of Baldanders hold…?
Two previous anime series made by J.C.STAFF were released in the late 1990s, predating the current anime. Even manga have been spawned from Sorcerous Stabber Orphen.

What is the plot of Sorcerous Stabber Orphen?
Orphan, the protagonist, is a young man who lends money in the seedy alleyways of Totokanta, a commercial metropolis. However, orphans didn’t always deal with illegal activities. He used to be regarded as one of the most promising black sorcerers in the Tower of Fang.
One day, Volkan and Dortin approach Orphen with a lucrative business proposition. To pull off their marriage scam, the three decide to pose as affluent businessmen and visit the Everlasting household.
One of the sisters learns of their scheme since there are flaws in Volkan’s plan. A massive creature suddenly assaults the mansion, yet a familiar name, “Azalie,” screams out. In the end, Orphen learns that the monster is the one he’s been looking for all along. His older sister turned into a dragonlike creature five years ago.
Orphen must now take all necessary precautions to ensure his sister’s safety from her assailants. Orphen embarks on a dangerous journey to restore his sister’s humanity, and in the process, he uncovers the world’s greatest secret.
