Just after the 13th and last episode of the first season, Bandai Namco Pictures announced Season 2 of Birdie Wing: Golf Girls’ Story. The official website announced Season 2 of the anime, complete with a trailer, key visual, and release date.

The new teaser for Season 2 of Birdie Wing provides us with a glimpse at what’s to come, and it looks like the two main heroines will be doing a lot more golfing.
Anime fans may recognise the name Bandai Namco Pictures from their work on the Gintama° series, Aikatsu on Parade!, and Welcome to Demon School! (2015). Iruma-Kun.
In Birdie Wing, Eve and Aoi Amawashi, two promising golfers, take centre stage. Eve is a skilled underground golfer with a reputation for aggressive play and a fondness for wagering against opponents. Aoi, a golf prodigy, will soon be Eve’s equal in a competitive match. Although Eve comes out on the losing end of her match with Aoi, the two golfing prodigies create a healthy rivalry and vow to play each other again in the future to improve their games.
Akari Kito, known for her roles as Nezuko in Demon Slayer and Barbara in Genshin Impact, provides the voice of Eve in Birdie Wing: Golf Girls’ Story. Seta Asami (Nobara Kugisaki from Jujutsu Kaisen, Mai Sakurajima from Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai) plays Aoi, her opposite.
Creators Takayuki Inagaki (Desert Punk) and Yosuke Kuroda (Fate/stay night) are behind the camera and keyboard, respectively (Mobile Suit Gundam 00). The opening theme music is performed by Kohmi Hirose, and Toru Inoue plays the role of golf supervisor.

Birdie Wing: Golf Girls’ Story Season 2 Release Date
The second season debut of Birdie Wing is scheduled for January 2023 on the TX Network stations in Japan. These are TV Tokyo, TVO, TV Aichi, TSC, TVH, and TVQ. Immediately after they premiere in Japan, Season 2 episodes will be available to stream on Crunchyroll in the Americas, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
