Tokyo Revengers Season 2: Is There A Season 2 For Tokyo Revengers?

Tokyo Revengers Season 2: Selling over 65 million copies worldwide and taking home the Best Shonen Manga award at this year’s Kodansha Manga Awards, Tokyo Revengers is a runaway success story in the manga world. It was inevitable that Liden Films would adapt the work of Ken Wakui into an anime, so it was no surprise that Tokyo Revengers became one of the most popular anime of 2021. The question now is, “What happens in Season 2?”

First airing in April 2021, Season 1 consisted of 24 episodes. The protagonist, Takemichi Hanagaki, goes back in time to stop the murder of the girl he liked when they were in middle school. He needs to go back in time and work his way up the ranks of the Tokyo Manji Gang to do this (Toman). Tokyo Revengers Season 2 Release Date

The premiere of Tokyo Revengers Season 2 is set for the first month of 2023. The actual air date was not specified, only the calendar month and year. Nonetheless, January of next year is a good marker for planning purposes.

Liden Films, the animation studio responsible for the first season, will return for the second. Season 1 had 24 episodes, while Season 2’s episode count has yet to be revealed. Twelve episodes is a safe bet, given the upcoming arc is roughly the same length as the Valhalla arc.
