Power Book Ii: Ghost Season 3: Is Power Book 2 Season 3 Coming Out?

Power Book Ii: Ghost Season 3: Brett Mahoney, previously of Empire, has been promoted to showrunner from executive producer.

But that’s just the beginning of the series’ changes; Tariq’s on-screen journey will only get more intricate from here on out.

Starz CEO Jeffrey Hirsch remarked, “The sustained success and cultural resonance of the Power universe are unprecedented, and fans are still hungry for more Power Book II: Ghost.”

Early in 2019, well before the release of Power Book IV: Force, the fourth installment in the fast-expanding franchise, production will begin on the third season of the star-studded series.

Power Book Ii: Ghost Season 3 Release Date

However, that doesn’t imply we’ve brought nothing to the table. Even while we don’t have a set premiere date for Season 3, we can say that filming is complete. A release date is in the air. We can feel it.

Gianni Paolo and Michael Rainey Jr., who play Ghost’s leads, announced on their podcast, The Crew Has It.

“Rainey piped in, “Yeah, we just finished filming season three that all of you have been clamoring for, so we can now offer you… not a date because we don’t know yet, but that’s all we can tell you at this point because we’re done. The remainder is now in the planning stages.”

Both refused to reveal any plot details, but Rainey promised: “they’re coming in hot” for the third season.

What we were hoping to hear, indeed! No surprise there, as if we needed any.

It was announced in early August that filming was finally done, bringing us tantalizingly close to, if not the actual release, then at least news of its launch.

Power Book Ii: Ghost Season Three Plot: What Will Happen?

In the second season’s climactic episode, Lorenzo Tejada’s (Berto Colon) wife Mone,t will likely learn that her husband, Zeke’s father, murdered the boy in a case of mistaken identity.

After killing Professor Jabari Reynolds (Justin McManus) and getting away with it, Tariq, who had previously wanted to leave the drugs game, has decided to stay and become the new connect now that Mecca is gone.

To the contrary, Brayden betrayed Tariq by setting up his college girlfriend Lauren, whose body was discovered after a car accident. Brayden saved Tariq from a lifetime in prison by admitting to being the student selling drugs on campus and exposing himself as the CEO of their drug peddling app Course Correct.

In an interview with PopSugar, Rainey teased, “I just know that Tariq’s going to be making some money, and obviously, he’s going to be fighting a lot because he’s trying to figure out what’s going on with Lauren and how her situation went because he doesn’t know what happened.”

She stated, “I think [Brayden] is going to have a terrible time keeping even one secret from Tariq. If you know Tariq, you know he’s going to work this out. Ultimately, he will discover the truth about his concerns.

And that’s one of the things I’m looking forward to witnessing: the bumpy road they’re about to embark upon in their relationships. There will be mayhem.

New York Police Department detective Blanca Rodriguez (Monique Gabriela Curnen), who was previously introduced as the officer who was assigned to confidential informant Mecca, returned in the series finale. Blanca will return to the scene of the incident in Mecca, and she will be carrying a blurry photo of Tariq with her while she does her investigation.

Cooper Saxe is teaming up with Prosecutor Jenny Sullivan (Paton Ashbrook) in Season 3 to blow the whistle on Davis MacLean’s shady legalpracticess. On the other hand, MacLean is attempting to free his innocent brother, Theo Rollins, from jail where he has been held since being convicted of murder.
