Blue Lock Episode 1: When Can I Watch It?

The first chapter of Blue Lock (, Burrokku?) is a shounen manga written by Kaneshiro Muneyuki and illustrated by Nomura Yusuke. It has been serialised in Weekly Shonen Journal since August 2018 and is published in print by writer Kodansha. Starting in June of 2021, the French version will be published by Pika Édition. The 8-Bit Studio intends to release its anime adaptation in October 2022.

What’s Blue Lock About?

Blue Lock is a shounen anime based on the award-winning manga written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura, who previously worked on the Assault on Titan manga.
The plot centres around the titular Blue Lock, a prison-like training facility created by the appropriately called coach Jinpachi Ego. Jinpachi, hired by the Japanese FA to evaluate their performance at the FIFA World Cup, determines that what Japan lacks is an arrogant, egotistical striker who is just concerned with scoring goals. Blue Lock is designed as a training camp for Japan’s most effective high school athletes, but there is a catch.

Only one player will become Japan’s striker, and the rest will almost certainly be barred from ever representing the national team. The story primarily follows Yoichi Isagi, a child whose goal of representing Japan on the world stage. Nonetheless, he encounters many different enigmatic characters in Blue Lock, every with the exact aim of himself.

Due to issues with the TV slot launch, Blue Lock Episode 1 will most likely be available to watch at 1:30 AM on October 9th in Japan, 9:30 AM in Pacific Time (October 8th, 2022), and 11:30 AM in Central Time (eighth October 2022). The anime will most likely be released in the United Kingdom at 5:30 PM and in India at 10:00 PM.

After Japan’s disappointing loss to Belgium in the round of 16 at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, JFA manager Anri Teieri understands that her colleagues are just concerned with mere cash revenue, whereas you want Japan to win the World Cup. This is why she gave her blessing to Jinpachi Ego’s “Blue Lock” project, which aimed to recruit 300 of the best high school football players in Japan and send them to a specific institution.

Yoichi Isagi, one of the many selected, lost his high school national championship qualification game because he had the guts to score an equaliser and instead tried to pass the ball to a less capable teammate, who also failed.
