The voice cast for the animated revival was officially unveiled by Seth Rogen on stage at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday night. “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem,”
includes Jackie Chan as the skilled sewer dweller Splinter and the young actors who voice the heroes’ group. Donatello, Michelangelo, Leonardo, and Raphael will be voiced by Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu, and Brady Noon, respectively. Rogen, a producer and voice actor for the movie, made the announcement and presented the quartet on stage during the event.

Many well-known performers are also included in the voice cast, portraying characters that are well-known to listeners. “TMNT” admirers, including Paul Rudd as Mondo Gecko, Maya Rudolph as Cynthia Utrom, Ice Cube as Superfly, Natasia Demetriou as Wingnut, Ayo Edebiri as April O’Neil, Giancarlo Esposito as Baxter Stockman, Post Malone as Ray Fillet, Hannibal Buress as Genghis Frog, and Rogen as Bebop. Jerome Rowe (“The Mitchells vs. the Machines”) is directing.
The movie is a collaboration between Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon Movies, and Point Grey Productions. James Weaver, Evan Goldberg, and Seth Rogen are producing for Point Grey, while Jason McConnell and Ramsey Naito are in charge of managing production for Nickelodeon.
Josh Fagen is the director, and Lukas Williams is co-producing for Point Grey. The narrative will follow the Turtle brothers as they struggle to win New York City’s affection while fending against a horde of monsters. “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem” hits theaters on Aug. 4.
