Money Heist Season 6 Release Date Status: Cast, When Will the Final Episodes Be Released on Netflix Following?

When La Casa de Papel, Netflix’s breakout smash, came with the first set of season five episodes, it broke hearts by killing off a key character.

Tokyo (Ursula Corberó) has met its demise in the series’ dramatic finale. If you don’t want to know, turn away now. Season six (or Season 5, Part 2, as it’s officially known) of Money Heist could be affected by this.

As of this writing, this is all we know about the situation.

Money Heist Season 6 Release Date: When Will Season 5 Part 2 Arrive on Netflix?

When Netflix announced that they were splitting the final season into two different volumes, we knew it was going to happen sooner rather than later.

It is now definite that the final batch of Money Heist episodes (season five part two, which many are calling season six) will debut on the streaming platform on December 3rd, as announced in the show’s May release schedule.

Money Heist Season 5 Part 1 Ending Explained, and What It Could Mean for the Plot

Denver (Jaime Lorente) and Manila (Belén Cuesta) were trapped in the kitchen of the Bank of Spain, Tokyo, by Commander Sagasta and his military unit.

César Gandia, the bank’s bodyguard, was left red-faced and Rio, Tokyo’s on-again, off-again love interest, was alerted to the danger his buddies were in. Rio utilizes the jackhammer of the team to begin drilling through the ceiling to gain entry via the room’s floor to free the hostages.

Some of Sagasta’s men are out of action and Tokyo is gravely hurt after shooting through the holes that he had drilled in the walls. Due to an injury, she was unable to use any of her limbs. Her bulletproof vest saved her life.

To get out of the kitchen, they would have had to use cables to drop themselves down many stories and into a lift shaft. A hurt Tokyo couldn’t participate, so she encouraged Denver and Manila to go on without her. This is how she planned to get down to join her friends: by having the drop padded with soft materials.

Despite Rio’s best efforts, she is unable to escape from Tokyo’s clutches. Before the military was able to make the lift leap conceivable, they blew their way into the kitchen and started shooting. As her crew was outnumbered, she decided she had no choice except to detonate the bombs on her chest in a last-ditch effort to save them all.

They had to come to terms with the emotional loss of Tokyo at the end of the finals.

Is the series going to continue, despite her death, or is it going to be handed onto another character?

Helsinki, who was stuck behind a pillar and now needs a limb amputation, and Stockholm, who self-injected morphine, are still unaccounted for as well.

Rafael (Patrick Criado) seemed to have gotten a lot of attention in the first few episodes of season five, as well. It is revealed that Rafael was coerced into taking part in a heist by his father, Berlin (Pedro Alonso). His refusal to follow in the footsteps of his deceased father has led many Money Heist fans to think that he may wind up rescuing the show’s final season.

Money Heist Season 6 Cast: Who Will Return for Season 5 Part 2?

Tokyo may appear in the remaining episodes, despite her death. If she is one of the show’s primary characters, there is bound to be more to her story in the form of flashbacks.

If Rafael does return, we’re sure there’s a lot more to learn about him, as we’ve already stated.

In addition to these characters, expect to see:

Rio (Alvaro Morte), Manila (Belén Cuesta), Denver (Jaime Lorente), Stockholm (Esther Acebo), Helsinki (Darko Peric), Rodrigo de la Serna (Palermo), Bogotá (Hovik Keuchkerian) and Alicia Sierra (Hovik Keuchkerian) are among the cast members (Najwa Nimri).
