Longest Fight in Anime: What is the Longest Fight in One Piece?

1. Luffy VS Katakuri In One Piece (22 Episodes)

In the 850th episode of One Piece, Luffy intervenes in a dispute between Katakuri and Nami. As Luffy and Katakuri fight, the latter quickly gains the upper hand, and in the meantime, a number of other events take place involving other characters. Until Luffy learns out how to defeat Katakuri and activates Gear Four, Katakuri will maintain his advantage over him.

Sadly, Luffy’s moment in the spotlight is short-lived, as Katakuri quickly regains his composure and the effects of Gear Four wear off. In episode 871, the fight between Luffy and Katakuri is finally resolved after he uses a new strategy to defeat Katakuri, despite some initial difficulty due to interference from Katakuri’s sister.
