Anime Fight Debates: What is the Biggest Debate in Anime?

1. Saitama (OPM) VS Goku (DBZ)

The anime fandom has long speculated about what it would be like if these two icons faced up. Saitama’s biggest difficulty is that he hasn’t met a foe yet who can match his abilities (he hasn’t even been able to defeat a mosquito). Sometimes the bad guys are just too powerful for Goku to handle.

But perhaps they are more powerful than the bad guys in One Punch Man, so that’s why. If they had been on the same show, we could have gotten to witness them throw some punches at each other. To witness the legends duke it out, though, we need only settle down with fan theories and fan animations.

2. Gojo (JJK) VS Sukuna (JJK)

Some of the most powerful Jujutsu Sorcerers, including Hakari, Yuji Itadori, Yuta Okkotsu, and Nobara, are among Gojo’s students. This man’s full potential hasn’t been realized until we finally see him doing things seriously. Sukuna, on the other hand, is the most powerful cursed spirit known to date.

He has been around since the golden age, which would make him around a thousand years old. If anyone can match Sukuna’s power, it’s Gojo. It’s hard to say who would come out on top, given that both characters have access to the highest tiers of Cursed Techniques and Domain Expansion.

3. Luffy (One Piece) VS Naruto (Naruto)

Here we have yet another anticipated anime battle. Despite their differences, Luffy and Naruto share the same endearing qualities: they both always have broad grins on their faces. But only up to the point where they don’t lose their temper. Due to their mental instability, engaging them in combat would be tantamount to inviting certain death.

Since they are both major players in their respective shows, picking a victor is a tough call. It would be a fight worth a million dollars because both Naruto and Monkey D. Luffy possess godlike levels of strength, speed, reflexes, and power.

4. Light (Death Note) VS Lelouch (Code Geass)

Throwing punches and wielding superpowers aren’t the only methods to win a fight. In the fictional universes of Death Note and Code Geass, mental prowess is valued over physical prowess.

Both Light Yagami and Lelouch are invincible in their universes. They are both so brilliant from birth that they already run the planet they were born into. Who would come out on top in a battle of wits between these two geniuses has long been a point of speculation?

5. Hisoka (HXH) VS Chrollo (HXH)

Who could hope to win a fight against someone who fights as if they have nothing left to lose? Hisoka, unlike the other anime characters, actively seeks out conflict. That’s why he’s one of Hunter X Hunter’s most formidable protagonists. Hisoka and Chrollo are both members of the Phantom Troupe.

Therefore, he is a powerful individual. Hisoka and Chrollo fought once and Chrollo prevailed in the manga. But Hisoka had to meet a few specific requirements. When put to the test in an unrestricted battle, their skills will reveal themselves.

6. Yoriichi (Demon Slayer) VS Muzan (Demon Slayer)

Although we aren’t the ones claiming it, the manga adaptation of Demon Slayer does state that Yoriichi is more powerful than Muzan. The legendary conflict occurred many years in the past of our present. It is said that Muzan’s fear of Yoruichi and the other Slayers stems from the psychological damage he sustained in the combat.

And that’s why Muzan wants more than anything to witness the world without the Demon Slayers in it. However, the conflict itself appears only in the manga, leaving us to speculate as to its outcome. The last thing any fan of “Demon Slayer” would want is for Yoriichi to return to combat Muzan again.

7. Netero (HXH) VS Master Roshi (DBZ)

Isn’t it awesome to imagine the best of anime going head to head? Master Roshi has trained legends like Goku, while Netero is widely regarded as the best hunter of all time. Netero always has a trick under his sleeve to throw his rivals off guard.

When it seemed like Netero had fallen to Meruem for good, he poisoned the ant king as a last resort. Master Roshi used to be the best martial artist in the Dragon Ball universe. At one point in the early issues of Dragon Ball, he even managed to destroy the entire moon. It’s unclear, then, who would emerge victorious in a fight between the two elderly combatants.
