Cause of Chaos Among Fans

One picture by the leads is enough to shake the entire Hospital Playlist community, which had been in a five-month slump.

Hospital Playlist’s leading man Kim Dae-Myung announced the possibility of a third season with an Instagram post from a reunion with the show’s other stars on 14 February 2022.

Reunion photos are usually taken with everyone dressed in their normal attire. This time around, however, the members of the group are dressed in scrubs and doctor’s coats. Many fans assumed it was a relic from the past, but it turns out to be a new photo.

Hospital Playlist Season 1 & 2

Second in the WISE LIFE series, “Hospital Playlist” is a popular tv and Netflix medical drama that follows “Happy Prison Life” (aired 2017-18). It became one of cable television’s most popular Korean dramas.
Five doctors in their 40s, who met in medical school together in 1999, are the stars of the K-drama. With the help of some music, the story tells of their journey to the hospital.

According to film critic Yun Suk-jin, the series Hospital Playlist “did away with the cliched power conflict, and focused on the doctors’ with the portrayal of strong female characters in the show,” emphasizing the human aspect of the profession rather than life-and-death situations.

Due to its appeal to western audiences, the show was able to gain global acclaim. The reviews for Hospital Playlist have been overwhelmingly positive. It appeared on Netflix’s list of “The 10 Best K-Dramas to Binge-Watch”.

Where Did We Leave?

Season 2 of The Hospital Playlist ended on a heartbreaking note, but there is still so much to discover. The season 2 finale had the highest average viewership rating of 14.080 percent in September 2021.

The show concludes with a band performance by the main cast of Hospital Playlist.
They confirmed their relationship with a kiss in the finale. They finally went from friends to lovers, Ik-jun and Song-Hwa. Meanwhile, Jeong-won revealed that he and Gyro-ul will relocate to the United States to continue their studies in medicine, which shattered the hearts of their fans. Ik-sister, jun’s Jun-wan, is trying to mend fences.

The next season of the show was already a given, thanks to the show’s enormous national and international appeal. One of Soompi’s insiders has revealed that the director has no immediate plans to renew Season 3.

Reason For The Delay

As Director Shin Won-ho explained, “Since I’ve accumulated a lot of concerns and exhaustion from producing my first drama with more than one season, it won’t be easy to decide on whether we’ll continue this story.”

He told the cast to go out and find other work instead of wasting their time waiting for him. Currently, there is no plan to release season 3. As a result, many viewers have given up hope that season 3 will be released any time soon.

No Specific Plans Doesn’t Equate to Never

“All of the production team and cast members have the definite will to unite if a new season is planned someday, but as of now, there are no specific plans,” the Hospital Playlist Production Team stated. It’s the Hospital Playlist crew.

However, the newly-released photos of the cast give us hope that there will be a sequel. The whole fandom could be the target of a prank, however. What if? But now we have a good excuse to rewatch the final two seasons.
