There has been no official word on the third season of Berserk. There have been no fresh adaptations of the popular manga series since the second season aired five years ago. And the manga’s creator, Kentaro Miura, passed away in 2021 without completing the plot. As a result, the continuation of Berserk is in question, and it’s possible we won’t be getting any more episodes.
Japanese fans of dark fantasy animation will recognise the term Berserk from the television adaptation of the manga of the same name. Despite some valid technical complaints, this is still one of the best anime series ever made.
The film series “Berserk” is the final instalment in the Golden Age Arc. The anime Berserk was originally released in 1997 under the same name as the computer game based on it. In total, this anime has provided viewers with 24 great episodes across its two seasons. Author Shin Itagaki has expressed enthusiasm for continuing the series if the anime’s producers agree.
This grim fantasy has its origins in a manga series written and illustrated by Kentarou Miura, which debuted on April 25, 1989, and has been running ever since. Berserk: Ougon Jidai-hen I: Haou no Tamago was released on February 4, 2012, followed by Berserk: Ougon Jidai-hen II: Doldrey Kouryaku on June 23, 2012, and Berserk: Ougon Jidai-hen III: Kourin on February 1, 2013.
After a few years, it was revealed that a new anime television series covering the events following the Gold Age story arc will be produced. Fans were shocked when Season 1 of Berserk debuted on July 1, 2016, as a result. Then, on April 7, 2017, the second season began airing.

Berserk Anime (Latest News In 2022)
The 2022 anime Berserk, produced by Wit Studio, is an attempt to adapt Kentarou Miura’s popular manga of the same name. This anime ran for eight seasons, from 2022 to 2029.
Kentaro Miura passed away on May 20, 2022, but his work on Berserk will continue. A friend and fellow mangaka Kouji Mori will shortly continue work on Kentaro Miura’s masterpiece, one of the most seminal seinen of all time.
Berserk Season 3 Release Date (COMING SOON)
There has been no official word on the third season of Berserk. Five years have passed since the airing of the second season, and since then, there have been no fresh adaptations of the smash manga hit. No news concerning a third instalment has been announced as of yet.
Since the season two finale raised many questions, viewers expect the production crew to be hard at work on the third season. An encouraging message, “The Story Continues,” was included at the end.
If we had to speculate on when the third season of Berserk will premiere, we might say that it will drop around the middle of 2023, but production on it will hopefully begin sooner this year. The third season of Berserk has not yet been announced by the show’s makers.

Berserk Season 3 Expected Plot
It has been speculated that the third season will focus on concluding the Falcon of the Millennium Empire story arc. To get to Skellig, the arc will try to track down a marine vessel. The Vandimion clan will have a heart-to-heart talk that quickly turns violent when Guts is dared to fight.
The populace anticipates an imperial declaration of war against the Holy See from Emperor Ganishka, but the invasion of the town by Kushan Empire forces is already underway.
After defeating Kushan’s army, Guts will ally with Zodd to take on Ganishka. A rip in the astral plane will open at the beginning of the battle. We’re going to call this new genre “World Transformation,” and it will feature stories about the natural world that have a supernatural layer added on top.
This will cause problems for Guts and open the door for the Mystical monsters to freely interact with the real world. If that occurs, Griffith will establish himself as the undisputed ruler of the Falcons Empire.

Will Berserk be finished?
The fate of Berserk is uncertain after Miura’s death. According to an official statement released by Hakusensha, the show’s creators have pledged to “always be placed on him — what he would think if he were still with us.” Young Animal’s editorial crew claimed in the afterword of the manga’s posthumously published 41st volume (issued in December 2021) that the manga’s future was still up in the air.
