Twisted Wonderland Characters: Who's the Main Character in It?

Disney Twisted-Wonderland is a Japanese smartphone game developed by Aniplex and Walt Disney Japan (, Dizun Tsuisuteddo Wandrando). The original idea, the main narrative, and the character design for Black Butler were all created by Yana Toboso, who was also the inspiration for Disney villains from numerous properties. On January 20, 2022, an official English localization was made available in the United States and Canada.

Gameplay

Disney Twisted-Wonderland is a “Villains Academy ADV (adventure game),” according to the game’s description. A “basic gameplay system” involving three primary components—Lessons, Stories, and Tests—is outlined. Using the game’s Magic Gems cash, players can randomly draw new playable characters in a gacha-style system.

You can increase the level of the characters you acquire by sending them to “Lessons,” which are essentially training sessions. The daily examinations, or exams, that players can take are a great way to gauge their characters’ progress (available periodically). To gain victory points, players deploy their characters into battle. Then, a player’s standing is determined by their total points, with better standing resulting in greater rewards.

Riddle Rosehearts

A 17-year-old sophomore at Night Raven College who was elected Housewarden of Heartslabyul during his first week there. Feared by all, he is devoted to the Queen of Hearts’ regulations and has the power to enforce them.
Specifically, he takes cues from Alice in Wonderland’s Queen of Hearts.

Ace Trappola

At 16, he is a freshman at Heartslabyul High School and one of the protagonist’s first pals there, along with Deuce. A bright and optimistic individual with a sneaky side. He and Deuce are fellow first-year students at Heartslabyul University, so they have a friendly rivalry.
A play on the card game Trappola and the ace of spades, his name is a pun. He’s the Heartslabyul cast member who wears that suit.

Deuce Spade

He is a 16-year-old student at Heartslabyul High School, and he and Ace were the protagonist’s first two pals. A sincere young guy who came to Night Raven College to become a respectable wizard. He puts out honest effort in his academic pursuits, but his sluggish processing speed often causes him to fall short of his peers.
The number “2” and the suit “Spades” are both embedded in his name.

Trey Clover

A vice house warden of Heartslabyul College and a junior with an age of eighteen. When Riddle’s strictness gets out of hand, the students turn to him, a mild-mannered individual who functions as a parental figure for them in the dorm.
The suit of clubs, which includes the number 3, inspired his name.

Cater Diamond

one who is one year younger than you and is 18 years old. With an easygoing demeanour and a keen eye for reading the environment, this person is frequently called upon to act as a mediator. He is extremely well-versed in all types of social media, especially Magicam (the primary platform used by Night Raven College), and is always up-to-date on the latest developments.
His given name alludes to the card suit of diamonds and the number four.

Leona Kingscholar

A junior at the age of 20 and the current Housewarden of Savanaclaw. Despite his tremendous magical skill, he is always unwilling to put in any effort. Being the second-born royal in his country has given him an imposing manner toward others.
Scar from The Lion King serves as an inspiration for him.

Jack Howl

A freshman in high school who is 16 years old. He or she is a serious learner who is committed to improving oneself. He’s an outcast who doesn’t like to be too friendly with others, but he understands the importance of following the established hierarchy.

Ruggie Bucchi

I am a 17-year-old junior in high school. A little, patient guy who spends all his time picking up after Leona. Growing up in poverty has made him completely without scruples when it comes to eating.
He looks up to Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed, the three hyenas from The Lion King.

Octavinelle

The characters in the house are based on Ursula and her eels from The Little Mermaid.

Azul Ashengrotto

The Housewarden of Octavinelle is a sophomore and only 17 years old. On campus, he operates a coffee shop called the Mostro Lounge, where he actively seeks out and absorbs data in any format. Even though he seems nice on the outside, he is very cold and calculated.
He finds Ursula from “The Little Mermaid” to be an inspiration.

Jade Leech

I am a 17-year-old junior in high school. The identical twin of Floyd, who is the Octavinelle Housewarden, now serving as Vice Housewarden. Everyone he interacts with praises his kind manner and politeness.
Jetsam, the eel from The Little Mermaid, is a major influence on him.

Floyd Leech

I am a 17-year-old junior in high school. Identical twin to Jade. As a result of his erratic temperament, you never know what to expect from him. He has a penchant for giving people pet names that involve fish (e.g. Goldfish for Riddle).
The eel Flotsam in “The Little Mermaid” serves as an inspiration for him.

Scarabia

The characters in the house are based on Jafar from Aladdin.

Kalim Al-Asim

A sophomore at the age of 17 who serves as the Scarabia Housewarden. He is a happy, kind, and incredibly wealthy young man who was born into affluence. From an early age on, he has been close with Jamil, whom he regards to be a brother apart from blood.
He looks up to Aladdin’s Sultan as an inspiration.

Jamil Viper

He is the Vice Housewarden of Scarabia and is 17 years old. He was born into a family that has provided for Kalim for centuries, and he has spent the majority of his life accommodating Kalim’s careless whims.
He looks up to Jafar from “Aladdin” for motivation.

Pomefiore

The characters in the house are based on the Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Vil Schoenheit

Currently the Housewarden of Pomefiore and a junior at the age of 18. He’s a strikingly handsome young man who thinks he’s the fairest one around. In his pursuit of perfection, he spares no effort.
The Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs villain has inspired him.

Epel Felmier

An incoming freshman who is only 16 years old. A delicate lad with fleeting charm. Still and mysterious, he keeps his distance from others in his orbit.
References to the poisoned apple from “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” inspired his moniker.

Rook Hunt

Vice Housewarden of Pomefiore and a junior at the age of 18. As a person who values exquisite beauty, he thinks highly of Vil and Epel. However, he can be difficult to decipher at times.
A character in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs who have served as an inspiration to him is the Huntsman.
