Has ‘Wu Assassins’ Been Confirmed For Season 2?

Season 2 of Wu Assassins has not yet been renewed, as of this writing. Netflix, on the other hand, has ordered a standalone film that will continue the season 1 finale of Wu Assassins

A Fistful of Vengeance is the film’s title. Netflix plans to release the film on February 17th, 2022, after it wraps up production in Thailand in April 2021.
The film will feature several cast members from the television series. Iko Uwais, Lewis Tan, Lawrence Kao, and JuJu Chan Szeto make up the quartet. Ratha Phongam and Pearl Thusi are also on the list of people who should be included.

It’s possible that the show could return for a second season or another standalone story, according to Variety’s sources.

What Is Likely To Happen In ‘Wu Assassins’ Season 2?

Now that Wu Assassins’ world and history have been established in season 1, we can expect to see more action if season 2 is ever confirmed.

Lewis Tan told Inverse that he had a confession to make “The backstory has been established. We don’t have to return there.”

It’s no longer necessary to sell the backstory as hard as in the first season, according to the actress who plays Lu Xin on the show.

Iko Uwais is most likely to continue his story as Kai Jin, the Wu Assassin. Also likely to return is Celia Au, who portrays Kai’s mentor Ying Ying in his training to become a Wu Assassin. Lu Xin Lee, Kai’s friend and the owner of Lee’s Wheels, is played by Lewis Tan; Jenny Wah, Kai’s friend, and the restaurant owner owned by Li Jun Li are played by Li Jun Li.
