The Rising of the Shield Hero is a franchise based on a dark fantasy isekai novel series that has also been turned into a manga and anime. The first season of the anime began airing on January 9, 2019, and concluded on June 26, 2019, after a total of 25 episodes. To the best of our knowledge, the Spirit Turtle Arc, which debuted in volumes 6 and 7 of the light novel (or chapters 45 through 62 of the manga), will be adapted for the second season of the anime. The heroes learn the hard way that they need to fortify themselves after their struggle with the extraterrestrial heroes. Queen Mirella has arranged for combat advisors to train the four heroes, and Naofumi has access to Melromarc’s cache so he can apply the various power-up methods. Swordswoman Eclair Seaetto now governs the territory around Raphtalia’s village, and the heroes also cross paths with Elrasla Grilaroc, the only practitioner of the Hengen Muso martial technique.
The Rising Of The Shield Hero Season 3 Cast
There was an initial statement that the second season would premiere in October 2021, however that date has since been pushed back. The cast of the first season has also been confirmed to return for the second season. We also found out that Masato Jinbo, not Takao Abo, would be directing the second season.
