PGA 2k23 Release Date: What Platforms Will PGA Tour 2k23 Be on?

As previously announced, PGA Tour 2K23 Deluxe Edition and PGA Tour 2K23 Tiger Woods Edition will release on October 11, with the Standard Edition following on October 14.

The game has two versions, both of which were released at different times.

On Tuesday, October 11, 2022, gamers everywhere will be able to get their hands on PGA TOUR 2K23 Deluxe Edition and PGA TOUR 2K23 Tiger Woods Edition.

PGA TOUR 2K23 Deluxe Edition:

  • The package includes the base game with cross-generational dual entitlement for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, or PlayStation 5 consoles, as well as the Michael Jordan Bonus Pack, Golden Club Pack, and Deluxe Edition Bonus Pack, which adds 1300 VC, a hockey stick putter, a gold baseball cap, a gold glove, and three Rare consumable golf ball sleeves to your game;
  • Includes the main game, the Michael Jordan Bonus Pack, the Golden Club Pack, and the Deluxe Edition Bonus Pack for the PC version.

PGA TOUR 2K23 Tiger Woods Edition:

  • Included with the purchase are both the Standard and Deluxe Editions;
  • The Tiger Woods Signature Sunday Pack includes a red polo, black pants, a black hat, Nike TW Golf shoes, a Nike TW Golf belt, and a Bridgestone Golf TOUR B XS, Tiger Edition Golf Ball in addition to the Tiger Woods Edition Bonus Pack, which includes a Tiger Woods TaylorMade wedge set, a Nike TW Golf tee shirt, and three Epic consumable golf ball sleeves.

And then on Friday, October 14, 2022, comes  PGA TOUR 2K23 Standard Edition.

PGA TOUR 2K23 Standard Edition:

  • The core game is included in both the physical and digital versions for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5;
  • For PC, this bundle consists of the main game plus the Golden Club Pack, which includes a Golden Putter, a Golden Driver, and four Uncommon consumable golf ball sleeves;
  • A playable rendition of Michael Jordan and four Common golf ball sleeves are included in the Michael Jordan Bonus Pack, available to those who pre-order any version of the Standard Edition.
  • Standard Edition purchasers on Xbox Series X|S (physical or digital) or PlayStation 5 (digital only) consoles will also receive the Golden Club Pack for the game on Xbox One or PlayStation 4 as part of the cross-generation dual entitlement promotion

PGA Tour 2K23 Gameplay Features

As was to be expected, this year’s game has the series’ usual assortment of returning characters and newcomers from the previous instalment.

PGA TOUR MyCAREER brings back exhibition, multiplayer, and Divot Derby play, as well as the chance to compete in the FedExCup. Henni Koyack joins regulars Rich Beem and Luke Elvy in providing insight and discussion.

PGA Tour 2K23 Multiplayer

After a long hiatus, multiplayer is back in full force with Online Societies, allowing users to form teams with their pals and compete in individualised tournaments and season-long campaigns.

It should be noted that cross-play appears to be unsupported. It is stated in the release that “Multiplayer modes can only be played with the same console or across generations within the same console family” (Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S; PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5).
