Reality cooking competition Iron Chef Brazil will premiere in 2022 on Brazilian and American television, with Fernanda Souza in the title role. Alton Brown and Kristen Kish have been confirmed as the show’s hosts.
The show is based on a Japanese cooking competition of the same name, which debuted in October 1993 and was produced by Fuji Television.
It is one of the many worldwide versions of the cooking competition show. Season one will consist of eight episodes, each running 45 minutes, and will premiere on Wednesdays.

Iron Chef Brazil, a Netflix original series, began production in early 2022 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Production on the main picture didn’t get underway until December 2021 and wrap in May 2022. Daniel Calin, Ross Weintraub, and Eytan Keller serve as executive producers, with Keller Productions and 3 Ball handling the show’s production.
In May of 2022, actress Fernanda Souz posted a series of behind-the-scenes images to Instagram showing that filming had taken place in the locations used in the show, which is Brazil. Because of its wealth, Sao Paulo is home to some of Brazil’s finest museums and art galleries.
