The previous ruler of Wakanda, alongside her late husband, King T’Chaka, is Ramonda. Bassett is a well-known figure in Hollywood, with a long career that began in the 1980s. Her most notable works are the rom-com How Stella Got Her Groove Back, the historical drama Malcolm X, and the Tina Turner biopic What’s Love Got to Do with It. She has appeared in American Horror Story for several seasons more recently and currently stars in the Ryan Murphy thriller 9-1-1. She also appeared in Mission: Impossible – Fallout as Erika Sloane, the CIA director.
Letitia Wright Plays Shuri
The princess of Wakanda and its most brilliant scientist, Shuri, oversee the nation’s cutting-edge research and development. One of her creations is the modernized Black Panther outfit that her late brother and former King, T’Challa, formerly wore.
Wright is renowned for appearing in Kenneth Branagh’s Death on the Nile, Donald Glover’s Guava Island, and Steve McQueen’s Little Axe: Mangrove, in addition to her roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She collaborated with Russell T Davies on the LGBTQ+ dramas Banana and Cucumber for television, and she also appeared in the Black Mirror episode Black Museum from season four.
Tenoch Huerta Plays Namor

The Jabari Tribe of Wakanda, formerly cut off from society and vehemently opposed by its leader, T’Challa, is now led by M’Baku. However, over time, M’Baku became the late king’s staunchest supporter, joining him in battle during the Infinity War against Thanos’ army. M’Baku is now a respected voice in Wakandan affairs.
In Jordan Peele’s 2019 film Us, Duke reconnected with his Black Panther co-star Lupita Nyong’o. Duke is also well-known for his role in the Netflix comedy Spenser Confidential. Before his breakthrough, he had frequently appeared on the US television programs Person of Interest and Modern Family.
Lupita Nyong’o Plays Nakia
The elite team of secret agents known as the Wakandan War Dogs includes Nakia dispatched on assignments worldwide. She was also King T’Challa’s lover, who passed away. Fans want to know what she has been doing since she was conspicuously absent from Infinity War and Endgame events.
Nyong’o gained notoriety in 2013 as the co-star of the critically acclaimed historical drama 12 Years an enslaved person with Chiwetel Ejiofor, for which she was nominated for an Oscar Award.
