Camorra or dwarf, “Sicily’s mafia,” says Savino, “is neither.” In the first episode, we get to know the cast and family and soon find ourselves in the seedy underbelly of New York City, where shady deals are struck and people are beaten.
The story, even though it is spoken in Italian and subtitled in English, keeps you engaged. In the beginning, I felt like I was watching a documentary rather than seeing live performers, and that was the first thing I said to a friend.
Outstanding performances and a superb screenplay elevate the second episode’s thrill factor considerably. The third episode is something I’m eagerly anticipating, and I’m giving it a 9/10 on IMDb.

What does Will happen in Gomorrah’s Previous Season?
After four seasons, Ruggeri appears to be closing in on Genny. Patrizia decides to meet with Ruggeri after they have reached an agreement. When Ruggeri asks Patrizia about Genny, she pauses in her tracks.
As a result of his encounters with diplomats and Michelangelo, Genny can save Patrizia. One more conversation took place on the private plane following Genny’s death and Patrizia’s release. When Patrizia and Ruggeri talked, he wondered if she made any mention of him.
