Keith Dinicol Joined the ‘Chesapeake Shores’ Cast in Season 5

According to the Stratford Beacon Herald, Dinicol died of a stroke. Throughout his 30-year career at the Stratford Festival in Ontario’s capital city of Stratford, the actor appeared in more than 100 productions, according to the local paper.

Stratford Festival artistic director Antoni Cimolino told the Beacon Herald that “while he played a variety of roles in drama and tragedy, his generous, joyful, and energetic personality made him a natural and gifted comedian.” Aside from making everyone around him happy, he also brought joy and laughter to countless audiences.

As Arthur Driscoll on Chesapeake Shores, Dinicol was well-known to Hallmark Channel viewers for his role as the famous but reclusive artist. In season 5, he was cast as a member of the show’s ensemble. Along with these, he made guest appearances on such series as Schitt’s Creek, Murdoch Mysteries, and The Designated Survivor.

Chesapeake Shores actor Treat Williams, who portrays Mick O’Brien, posted on Twitter, “RIP Keith Dinicol of Chesapeake Shores. “He was an invaluable member of the cast and will be sorely missed.”

Upon reconnecting with Mick’s mother Nell (Diane Ladd), he was able to open up somewhat. By the end of the season, it appeared that Arthur and Nell were developing feelings for each other. In the Vancouver area, the network shoots a lot of its television shows and movies. When Calls the Heart and Martha’s Vineyard Mysteries, for example, are both filmed in British Columbia, Canada.

It may not be filmed in Maryland, but the Canadian locations that Woods used to create Chesapeake Shores do a good job of capturing her vision.

‘Chesapeake Shores’: the Door Is ‘absolutely’ Open for Jesse Metcalfe to Come Back

The actor who played Trace for so many years, Metcalfe, recently took to Instagram to share some of his memories of the role.
