The Gentlemen Netflix Series: In 2019, Ritchie returned to form with The Gentlemen, which featured Matthew Mc Conaughey, Charlie Hunnam, Colin Farrell, Hugh Grant, and Henry Golding in the type of cuss-filled crime thriller that made him famous.
Since then, he’s directed Wrath of Man, Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre, and is set to oversee the upcoming Hercules live-action remake; yet, he’s also working on a rare follow-up for television.
The Gentlemen Netflix Series Release Date: When Is It Coming Out?
There is no confirmed date for the Gentlemen’s debut on Netflix at the moment. Given that it is still in the early stages of development and Ritchie is working on other projects, we probably won’t see it until late 2023, though it could be later in 2024.
Deadline reports that filming on the series will begin in early November.
The pilot episode was written by Ritchie and Matthew Read, and Ritchie will also direct the first two episodes and serve as an executive producer.
According to a statement released by Ritchie, “The Gentlemen’s universe is a little piece of me.”
