Surface Season 2: A woman with amnesia is at the centre of Surface, a compelling thriller. Sophie, played by Gugu Mbatha (Loki), is a middle-class woman who suffers a traumatic brain injury and loses her memories. Sophie has lost all sense of self and memory of her values, background, and family. Sophie is perplexed by her suicide attempt because she had always been told how wonderful her life was.
Surface Season 2 Release Date
Due to the delay in the release of the first season, the show has not yet been renewed for a second run. The series premiere is set on July 29, 2022, on Apple TV. The premiere date for the pilot and two additional episodes is January 29; subsequent episodes will air weekly until the eighth.
At the time of writing, AppleTV+ has decided not to order a second season of Surface. Given that Apple has renewed multiple other shows in the past, it will be interesting to see if they do so with this one as well.

We must be patient and wait to see if the series’ ratings are high enough to warrant a renewal. The first season will broadcast in July of 2022, after having been filmed in July. The same standards will be applied in the event of a renewal. The show’s second instalment might air as soon as 2023.

Surface Season 2 Plot

What if you woke up one day and had no idea what had happened to you? In “Surface,” we witness a protagonist’s journey of self-discovery as she wonders whether or not our identities are determined by external factors or whether or not we have free will. While this season revealed Sophie’s true identity, season 2 will explain why.
