Ratched Season 2: The TV show looks at the life of the movie’s antagonist, the tyrannical Nurse Mildred Ratched, and explains how she grew to be the villainous figure she was in the iconic suspense flick. The series, which debuted in September 2020, was an instant hit with audiences. Ratched had an average 61% on Rotten Tomatoes but was nonetheless nominated for four Primetime Emmys and was clearly a popular with viewers, as seen by its high ratings.

What Is The Ratched Season 2 Plot?
After Nurse Ratched and Briggs (now cured of cancer) fled to Mexico at the end of the first season, Nurse Bucket was left in charge of Lucia State. Rather than American Horror Story, this was more like Thelma and Louise.
But we know this happy ending can’t last forever. Although Edmund, Ratched’s brother, is still at large and planning her murder in this prequel serial, we know how her story will end.
The series’ overarching purpose is to explain the development of Nurse Ratched into the twisted megalomaniac we witness in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.
This means that Season 2 will have to explain what happened to Ratched that made her lose every trace of humanity. Assumably, Ratched will meet her end at the hands of Edmund, his girlfriend Louise, and Charlotte, who suffers from dissociative identity disorder.
In an interview with The Wrap from September of 2020, Paulson seems to imply that her character’s struggle with her brother and the revelation of his violent tendencies will be the show’s focal point and the ultimate cost to her psyche.
“What you’re probably going to see is a Mildred who has now become even harder,” she said. “The thing that kept her soft was the part of her that was engaged in the love and the protection and the desire for absolution, as it pertained to her brother. Now that that’s gone, I don’t know who she’ll become. But further and further from her humanity and heart, I think I can say that with some certainty.

Ratched Season 1 Review
The first season of Ratched was well-received by viewers. It appears like Season 2 of Ratched will be well received.
After imagining herself to be Hanover and making a solemn oath to spare Edmund’s life, Charlotte visits the hospital at the end of the first season of the show Ratched.
After that, she becomes violent after finding a gun in Hanover’s desk; she ends up killing Hunk and a guard.
On the other hand, she lets Edmund go, and he ends up stealing the guard’s gun and coercing Bucket into spilling Ratched’s plan to him.
After that, he and Charlotte make their getaway and quickly enlist the motel owner, Louise, as an ally. After three years, Edmund contacts her by phone, claiming to have followed her, Gwendolyn, and Bucket to Mexico and promising to kill her; however, Ratched assures him that she will soon find him. I guess we’ll have to wait and see what develops.
