Scream Vi’ Subway Stop Poster: There are many new horror films coming out in the coming year, which is exciting for fans. This contains Scream VI, which debuts in March on the obscene streets of New York City. Ghostface isn’t putting off ringing in 2023 with a bloody bang, as the slasher’s latest billboard is a terrifying interpretation of the NYC subway system. a Subway system with connections to the franchise’s troubled past.
The Ghostface mask is drawn out on the poster by six separate NYC Subway lines, which was posted on Scream’s numerous social media platforms. It seems innocent enough, but a former franchise character is substituted at each location. For instance, characters like Marianne Evens (Jada Pinkett Smith, Scream 2), Cici Cooper (Sarah Michelle Gellar, Scream 2), and Randy Meeks (Jamie Kennedy, Scream and Scream 2) can be found on the green line, while Kirby Reed (Hayden Panettiere, Scream 4 and Scream VI) and Jill Roberts (Hayden Panettiere, Scream 4 and Scream VI) can be found on the orange line (Emma Roberts, Scream 4).

Each line represents one of the six movies in the franchise, so that’s only the beginning. Scream is represented by the colours red, green, yellow, orange, and blue whereas Scream VI is represented by the colour purple. The latter of which is skillfully being built. Every stop on every line, save from the future New York-focused sequel, represents the location where each character was allegedly murdered by Ghostface. As we discovered in SCREAM, Kirby is the only member of the Ghostface team to have survived, except from Sam Carpenter, the map’s final endpoint. Panettiere is playing the same part in Scream VI, much to the joy of many fans.
The red line from Scream, which depicts Sidney Prescott’s mother Maureen Prescott’s murderous rampage, is undoubtedly the most well-known of them. That notorious red line runs from the opening scene with Casey Backer (Drew Barrymore) and ends with the classic Ghostface reveal by Stu Macher (Matthew Lillard) and Billy Loomis (Skeet Ulrich). Since then, every Ghostface has based their murderous rampage on that psychotic duo. The fact that Sam Carpenter (Melissa Barrera), who is Billy Loomis’ daughter, is at the centre of each of these stories and lines is what unites them. She and her companions appear to be the focus of Ghostface’s attention in New York.
Since its debut in December, Scream VI has enjoyed successfully promoting its New York City setting. Even in Time Square, the movie made a bloody sensation while advertising. It will be fascinating to observe how this venerable slasher franchise acclimates to its new urban setting as a result. Ghostface appears to be enjoying it and has become fond of the subway system. The most widely used form of transit in NYC has been the focus of the movie, teaser poster, and now this new poster. New Yorkers now have to worry that Ghostface might be on their commute home on Halloween, as if the Subway wasn’t spooky enough already.

The finest thing the previous Scream movie did was build up fantastic new likeable characters for Ghostface to pursue, even though Neve Campbell won’t be returning her part for the first time in this new Scream. At the core of that were Sam and Tara Carpenter (Jenna Ortega). The surprisingly deep emotional hook that the venerable franchise perhaps required was their sibling relationship.
Additionally, Barrera and Ortega had a wonderful connection together. Once again being sought after in NYC, it will be intriguing to see where the franchise takes these recently reunited sisters. Sam’s tie to the murderer appears to follow him around forever. Killing your ex-Ghostface partner won’t solve your mental health issues or stop you from having hallucinations of your murdered father. Trauma of such nature can never improve things; they can only make them worse.
