Sarah Michelle Gellar And James Marsters Reunite

Spike and Buffy will always choose to be allies over enemies! James Marsters, 60, and Sarah Michelle Gellar, 45, who played the characters Buffy and the Vampire Slayer, reconnected on January 19 at the red carpet premiere of Sarah’s newest Paramount+ series, Wolf Pack. Fans of Buffy went crazy when the former co-stars and friends posed together on the red carpet! After all, these two haven’t appeared on television together in the adored supernatural series in nearly 20 years.

Sarah wore a floral minidress and matching earrings to look stunning on the red carpet. She wore pink lipstick and left her long blonde hair down. James, on the other hand, opted for an all-black ensemble that included a jacket, a zip-up top, and some jeans. As they posed for pictures together, the former members of the Buffy cast were beaming broadly. Additionally, Sarah grabbed a couple pictures with her 46-year-old husband, Freddie Prinze Jr.

After reflecting on Buffy in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Sarah and James reunited. During the pandemic, the actress admitted to watching the show with her two kids, but she “had problems” getting through the Buffy and Spike-centric season 6, which tackles a lot of hard subjects including sexual aggressiveness. She said, “I just don’t want to rewatch it. It wasn’t proper for kids at the time.”

 Must Go For

In the THR interview, Sarah also discussed how the abuse claims against the show’s creator Joss Whedon have impacted the reputation of Buffy. Joss, 58, was previously accused of being “cruel” on the set of the TV programme by Sarah’s co-star Charisma Carpenter, 52. Although Sarah has expressed support for Charisma, she told THR that she hopes Joss hasn’t altered the show’s “heritage.”

She remarked, “I hope that it returns the success to the people who put in all of the labour.” “I’ll always be happy with Buffy. I’ll always be proud of what I and my fellow cast members accomplished. Was it the ideal working environment? Not at all,” Sarah added. But it’s acceptable to love Buffy for what we produced because, in my opinion, it’s fairly amazing.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer was a huge television success that ran from 1997 to 2003. Nicholas Brendon, Alyson Hanningan, David Boreanaz, Anthony Stewart Heard, and Michelle Trachtenberg also starred in the programme. I hope you found the information presented above useful.
