Big wins for Harry Styles! The 29-year-old star won album of the year for Harry’s House at the 2023 Grammy Awards on Sunday. When Trevor Noah and a group of admirers presented him with the prize, he said, “This doesn’t happen to people like me very often.” “Thank you, this is nice.”
Styles also took the time to say that he doesn’t go into the studio wondering if he will win accolades and added that “there’s no such thing as best” before handing the microphone over to the producers of his third studio album.
ABBA’s Voyage, Adele’s 30th, Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti, Beyoncé’s Renaissance, Mary J. Blige’s Good Morning Gorgeous (Deluxe), Brandi Carlile’s In These Silent Days, Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres, Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, and Lizzo’s Special were other contenders in the category.
Styles was nominated for six awards at the gala this year. Harry’s House was nominated for best pop vocal album, which he ultimately won, as well as record and song of the year, best pop solo performance, and best music video for “As It Was.”

“In the 12 years I’ve been touring, I have never had to cancel a gig due to illness. I’m unfortunate to have to do it, and I would have attended the performance if I could.
