Apple has released the Beats Studio Buds+, the company’s latest TWS earbuds with ANC, as the successor to the Beats Studio Buds, which were released in 2021. This version improves on the predecessor in several ways, including a better fit, improved Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Transparency mode, better microphones, longer battery life, and more.
The transparent design stands out, but these are not the same as the clear Nothing’s Ear series buds. There’s also a new extra-small ear tip option. Apple claims that 95% of the internal components are new, including 3x larger upgraded voice-targeting microphones for high-quality call performance. These still have IPX4 sweat and water resistance ratings.
Apple Hub posted about Beats Studio Buds+ In one of their recent Tweets.
You can toggle between Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) and Transparency mode with a button. These are 1.6x and 2x better than the Studio Buds, thanks to advancements in ANC processing and a revised vent design. It also has Dolby Atmos Spatial Audio support on Apple Music but lacks the head-tracking found in the Beats Fit Pro and several AirPods models.

With ANC turned off, the Buds+ promises up to 36 hours of total battery life (9-hour earbuds + 27-hour charging case), compared to 24 hours for the Studio Buds. There is fast charging, which provides an hour of battery life after only 5 minutes, but there is no wireless charging.
