Ariana Grande: In Manchester, England, Ariana Grande is bringing Christmas cheer to the locals. The 29-year-old “Side to Side” singer was honoured on Monday by the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity for giving Christmas gifts to youngsters at numerous regional hospitals.
They tweeted, “Thank you Ariana!” We were thrilled to receive Christmas gifts from Ariana Grande for the children who visited our hospitals.
The charity also stated that babies, kids, and teenagers at Wythenshawe Hospital, North Manchester General Hospital, and Trafford General Hospital received the gifts.
Tanya Hamid, interim director of Manchester Foundation Trust Charity, posted on Instagram, “It’s so great that Ariana has again been so kind and donated this unique donation to our family of hospitals.
“We know Ariana maintains a special place in her heart for Manchester, and in particular Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital,” she continued. More than five years after three people died during Grande’s performance at the Manchester Arena, she generously donated.

At the conclusion of her performance on May 22, 2017, a suicide bomber blew off a bomb in the arena’s foyer, killing 22 people and wounding over 500 more. Grande took a two-week break after the fatal tragedy and postponed the remainder of her “Dangerous Woman” tour.

Despite being heartbroken by the attack, Grande returned to Manchester the following month to host a star-studded charity concert that featured appearances by Chris Martin, Mac Miller, Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, Justin Bieber, and Miley Cyrus. The sold-out concert was planned by Grande, who also contributed to the victims’ and their families’ benefit of more than $13 million.
The two-time Grammy winner has continually remembered the victims ever since the tragedy. She wrote a moving ode to the 22 victims the previous year.
In May of last year, Grande posted a message on her Instagram Stories that said, “Although sadness is ever present and our relationship to it is continuously growing and expressing itself in different ways every day, year-round.
