The mother has been gone for some time, and investigators have searched extensively in many Massachusetts communities. Prosecutors claimed that blood and a knife were discovered earlier this week in the basement of the house the family was renting in Cohasset.
The Peabody transfer station and the East Wareham waste-to-energy facility have both been searched as part of the investigation. A hacksaw and a rug with blood on it were among the items of evidence discovered at the transfer station next to Brian Walshe’s mother’s house, 5 Investigates has learned.
