Ana Walshe Missing In Cohasset: Ana Walshe’s employer in Washington, D.C., reported her missing on January 4 when she failed to show up for work. Ana Walshe has not been seen since early on New Year’s Day. Brian Walshe, her husband, is being held in state custody after being accused of obstructing the inquiry into his wife’s disappearance.
A vigil arranged by religious leaders for the community to gather and pray together drew dozens of people to the town common on Thursday around twilight.

“At this time, all of us need the simple act of coming together with leaders from our local institutions of religion to assist one other heal,” town manager Christopher Senior said.

In relation to the disappearance, Brian Walshe, 47, was charged with misleading a police investigation and was prosecuted on Monday in Quincy District Court. According to a police report, he informed officers that his wife was departing for Washington, D.C., early on January 1st.

During Brian Walshe’s court appearance, the prosecution claimed that blood and a bloody knife were discovered in the family’s Cohasset basement not long after he spent about $450 on cleaning goods. According to a police complaint, he made the transaction at the store while donning a surgical mask, gloves, and cash.
