The life of renowned journalist Barbara Walters is honored in a comic book.
TidalWave Comics’ “Tribute: Barbara Walters” will be available on Thursday.
Walters had previously collaborated with the publishers on a project. Darren G. Davis, the publisher, said, “She provided us with her opinion and insider information, both of which we published in this article. Working with her was great and inspirational.”
In the media field, Walters made history by becoming the first female anchor of an evening news program at ABC News in 1976. She conducted on-the-spot interviews with politicians, dignitaries, stars, and newsmakers before launching “The View” in 1997.
She died a month ago at the age of 93.
