Jeremiah Martin Green: Jeremiah Green, the drummer for the band Modest Mouse, is now undergoing cancer treatment. On Modest Mouse’s official Instagram on Wednesday, frontman Isaac Brock called for support, saying, “Some of you may have already heard, but I thought it would be helpful to hear the news from our camp. Jeremiah was recently diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing treatment.
It appears to be going well and making a difference. Jeremiah, like me, believes in the power of positive energy, so if you could send “good vibes” (to paraphrase Jeremiah) in the direction of Jeremiah and his family, that would be fantastic.” Brock did not say what type of cancer Green was diagnosed with.
Green has taken a break from performing with the band, which just finished their “Lonesome Crowded West” tour. They are slated to perform again in Mexico City in March.

Despite his stage 4 diagnosis, his prognosis is favourable! His oncologist is a big fan of MM (so he’s got that going for him!) (two heart emojis) sent”
Green is a founding member of the band Modest Mouse, well known for their hit “Float On.” The band was created in the 1990s by Green, Brock, and bassist Eric Judy, and their debut album was published in 1996.
