Interview: Jessie Ennis And Ashly Burch Tease Friendship’s Key Role In ‘mythic Quest’ Season 3

Interview: Jessie Ennis And Ashly Burch Tease Friendship’s Key Role In ‘mythic Quest’ Season 3: Mythic Quest remains one of the best comedies on television thanks to its unique take on the corporate world (the programme is about a game firm, after all) and its concentration on character development and interaction. A lot of the characters have gotten more open and honest about how they feel in their “professional” relationships, and it’s been great to watch how they develop from season one to now.

Despite their social awkwardness, Mythic Quest companions Jo (Jessie Ennis) and Rachel (Ashly Burch) have bonded with one another. Season 3 is amazing because it works to their benefit as they try to figure out what they want out of life.

It’s refreshing to see Jo, who seems to have no friends, and Rachel, who seems to have lost her support system at Mythic Quest, try to figure out how to make friends and live her life at school apart from each other. And after speaking with both Ennis and Burch, it’s evident that they like working together and portraying Jo and Rachel.

I mentioned to Ennis that Jo is attempting to make friends this season in a manner that is very much the Jo way of doing things when I asked about her friendship journey. “The Jo way” is such a great way of putting it,” Ennis remarked. Let’s hope that Jo’s one-of-a-kind perspective sets her apart from the rest of the world. And it’s great to see a softer side of her like this.

I confronted Burch with questions concerning Rachel’s continued involvement with her former friend group after she abruptly left at the end of Season 2, and about her sudden appearances at Mythic Quest despite the fact that she is not employed there. Burch praised this season for showing “a lot more about Rachel,” which she found to be one of the show’s highlights. It’s funny to me since she’s obviously avoiding dealing with her life, a feeling I think we can all relate to.
