David Tennant and Stanley Tucci’s story of a string of misfortunes has reached its culmination in what may be the most painfully gripping TV drama ever.

What if, as vicar Harry’s ludicrous martyr complex led him to do increasingly questionable things for others around him, he eventually ended up rotting in prison?

Or, with only two weeks left to live, would broken-down criminology professor Grieff use Harry’s release as his final act of goodwill before being executed by lethal injection?

Inside Man Season 2 Potential Release Date: Will The Series Return

There have been no updates regarding Inside Man’s future.

With a complete tale contained within the first four episodes, it’s feasible that there will never be a fifth.

However, there are always dangling plot lines that, if the show is successful enough, could be enough to sustain an additional season.

Stanley Tucci’s return as the mysterious criminal specialist Jefferson Grieff looks possible if the series is revived.

Even though much of the action took place on the other side of the world while Grieff was incarcerated in the United States, he proved to be the story’s center throughout.

Dillon Kempton (Atkins Estimond), a 14-time woman killer, is unexpectedly lovable, but he couldn’t return without his right-hand man and personal recorder.

Together with Lydia West’s character, the eager reporter Beth Davenport, with whom Grieff bonded closely. Since each was curious about the other, they might work together to solve another mystery.

It’s uncertain, though, how the rest of the group will do. As Janice Fife, played by Dolly Wells, is once again out there avoiding everyone, we don’t expect her to make much of a comeback.

And yet, if Harry goes to trial, she will have to be there to put him away.

Inside Man Season 2 Plot: What Will Happen

If there is a second season and the story continues from the first, then Harry and Grieff will almost certainly be working together to find a way to get him out of jail.

Only two weeks remain before Grieff’s execution, so he plans to use that time wisely by focusing on cases that have “moral worth” to him, albeit this is up to debate.

A vicar’s attempts to save his son from a pedophile with a mental illness and cover up the man’s crimes are morally ambiguous. It all comes down to whether or not he values Harry’s well-intentioned but ultimately fruitless attempts at assistance.

However, if the tale is different, a new cast may be introduced with only a few commonalities. If and when there are announcements, we will have further information.
