The release of Pokemon Legends: Arceus has unleashed a slew of new Hisuian Pokemon into the wilds of the region’s old Hisui region, where trainers can collect and battle them. As a result of their unique histories and alterations, the newest regional variations of classic series creatures have quickly become fan favourites.
Since the eighth iteration of the brand, regional variations have been available. They were included in the story in the tropical paradise of Alola to demonstrate how Pokemon could adjust to new situations.
Considering that these ancient Hisuian Pokemon from Pokemon Legends: Arceus is said to have been brought into the new ninth-generation by Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the question of their competitive potential is likely to come up at some point. Because of this, we’ve compiled a list of 10 Hisuian Pokemon that could show up in battle.

Pokemon Legends’ 10 Most Powerful Hisuian Varieties Include Arceus
10) Hisuian Samurott
While the addition of the Dark typing and larger movepool is nice in principle, it offers little to address the core issues with Samurott’s combat effectiveness. The shift in its stat distribution is evident, but it doesn’t place it in a good position to become the physical sweeper its stats need. This is because it has a starting velocity of 85.
Hisuian Samurott would have a hard time keeping up with the quicker metagame if it maintained its Torrent ability in the next generation. But it would function considerably better than its Unovan counterpart.
9) Basculegion
Hisuian Basculin’s evolution, which combines Water and Ghost types, offers a unique balance of attack and health. Based on the skills it learns in Scarlet and Violet, the male version of this Pokemon might make a good offensive pick for stall teams.
Possessing access to the means of A formidable Ghost-type attacker, its adaptability will further boost its physical attack power.
8) Hisuian Typhlosion
Since it debuted in the fifth generation, Chandelure has been a fantastic option for a Fire-type offensive choice. Whether or whether Typhlosion can unseat Chandelure as the best Fire and Ghost-type to deploy in battle is unknown.
Offensive sweeper potential is high for Hisuian Typhlosion thanks to his respectable size and lightning-fast speed. Its Blaze ability, which boosts its Fire-type attacks while it’s low on health, suggests, however, that it may be better utilised as a Fire-type rather than a Ghost-type.
7) Sneasler
The numbers for Sneasler in Pokemon Legends: Arceus make it look like the ideal glass cannon at first glance. Trainers would be foolish not to utilise one, as its attack stat is 130 and its speed stat is 120. On the other hand, this might not be the situation.
Because it has switched to a type combination that includes Fighting and Poison, Sneasler is now extremely defenceless against attacks of the Psychic type. Glass cannons are another common descriptor for attackers of the Psychic type, and Alakazam is the most dangerous of these. Due to the fact that Alakazam shares the same speed stat as Sneasler, the latter is more than likely to come out on the losing end of any speed-related ties.
Seller may get some stage time if Alakazam or another powerful Psychic glass cannon is not present in Scarlet and Violet.
6) Kleavor
The case of Kleavor is fascinating. Despite being one of only two Rock types in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, it has none of the usual defensive advantages. However, this does not render Kleavor completely ineffective. Its attack stat of 135 makes it a powerful attacker in a team, but it will take some cooperation from the other members of the team to be fully effective.
Players have observed that Kleavor, when it attacks early and uses its Sheer Force ability, can carry the fight. Getting it to do so, however, is difficult due to its low-speed stat of 85.
5) Overqwil
4) Hisuian Zoroark
When utilising Zoroark in the earlier games, one of the finest moves was to use its signature Illusion ability, which allowed it to transform into a Fighting-type Pokemon and fool the opponent. Because Dark-type Pokemon like Zoroark are immune to Psychic-type attacks, their trainers can take a turn without worrying about being attacked.

If it shows up in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, it will be much more powerful because it will have full resistance to three types. In other words, Hisuian Zoroark will be more useful than ever before. By this measure, the Hisuian variant is superior to the original Unovan race.
3) Hisuian Lilligant
However, Hisuian Lilligant is a very specific choice. Hisuian Decidueye also has the Chlorophyll ability, but it is typed as a Fighting and evolves into a Grass like the original, hence it didn’t make the cut. Hisuian Lilligant’s effectiveness will increase greatly against foes who rely on the sun, such as those who play Drought or use the Sunny Day move on on upon.
However, in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, its weakness in Flying-type attacks is exacerbated by its low defence. Hisuian Lilligant’s trainer should win in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and Pokemon Legends: Arceus if the Pokemon goes on the offensive first.
2) Ursaluna
Ursaluna has excellent base stats and an extraordinary amount of health, or HP. While most Pokemon with similar stats make up for it with abysmal special defence, Ursaluna’s special defence is only average. Due to this, Ursaluna may become a formidable physical attacker and defensive force.
If it appears in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, its horrible speed stat won’t be a problem because the Trick Room move switches the turn order around, allowing sluggish Pokemon to attack first.
1) Hisuian Goodra
Most likely the most formidable Pokemon Legends: Arceus monster will be Hisuian Goodra, a regional Pseudo-Legendary Pokemon exclusive to Hisui. This is because its Dragon and Steel type combination is so potent both defensively and offensively.
Hisuian Goodra is so good at blocking attacks that it also makes for a great tank. Trainers that prefer a more aggressive approach can instead field a Trick Room squad with Hisuian Goodra, who will use his devastating attacks to crush the opposition.
Whether or not Hisuian Goodra shows up in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is a big question mark.
