The GTA Online License Plate Creator Is Finally Out For Gamers!

Rockstar Games has finally released the new GTA Online License Plate Creator. Previously, the iFruit app allowed players to design and use custom license plates in-game. Sadly, this application was discontinued just prior to the release of the Los Santos Drug Wars DLC. Last week, however, Rockstar announced the new License Plate Creator app in a newswire post.

With its release on April 20, 2023, players can create multiple new vanity plate designs via web browsers on multiple platforms. So, let’s take a closer look at Gta Online License Plate Creator, where to find it, and other pertinent details.

GTA Online License Plate Creator

Rockstar Games has officially launched the License Plate Creator page, accessible via mobile and desktop web browsers. By clicking the New Order button, players of GTA Online can begin designing new custom license plates. Each one will be registered on the website. They can create up to 30 of these items. When you click the New Order button, you will be redirected to a page where you can choose custom plate backgrounds and edit the text on them. There are two available viewing modes on this screen Plate view and Car view.

Gaming Detective shared a Tweet about GTA Online License Plate Creator. 

The first option only displays the vehicle’s license plate. The latter depicts how it will appear on a vehicle in-game. Here is how the Car View feature appears on the website: Click the Next button beneath the Plate Background options when you are satisfied with the design. This will open a drop-down menu containing some of the most recent vehicles you’ve used in GTA Online.

Select the vehicle to which you wish to apply for the license plate, then click the button below labeled “Place Order.” You will then receive a notification in Grand Theft Auto Online instructing you to visit Los Santos Customs to complete the order. Upon entering Los Santos Customs with the vehicle for which the custom license plate was designed, players can complete the transaction. The first one is complimentary. This was also observed in the defunct iFruit app, where the first license plate design was free, but subsequent ones cost $100,000 each.
