Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for the Nintendo Switch is a direct sequel to Breath of the Wild, returning us to Hyrule in its open-world version. In Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you take on the role of Link, the Hero of the Wild, as he embarks on another quest to save Hyrule from destruction. This time, however, you will not only be exploring Hyrule but also soaring through its skies and plummeting into its depths.

The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Walkthrough
While Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom begins more linearly than Breath of the Wild, it soon opens up and allows you to freely explore Hyrule. The game proper begins on Great Sky Island, where you’ll get to try out Link’s new abilities before returning to Hyrule’s ground level. We recommend following the main questline until you obtain the Paraglider before venturing across Hyrule, as this item is critical to your journey.
Once you’ve obtained the Paraglider, you can either continue the game’s storyline, seek out other main quests, shrines, and side adventures, or simply explore Hyrule to your heart’s content.

Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom Tips And Tricks
Visit all of the Skyview Towers. These towers not only add a new region to your map’s sky and land sections, but they can also send you shooting straight up into the sky. This is extremely useful if you haven’t yet explored this region’s sky islands or simply want a quick route to the sky while exploring.
Investigate wells, caves, and chasms. Hyrule has not only expanded upward, but it has also revealed its hidden depths. You’ll come across a number of caves, wells, and chasms on your journey, all of which are worth exploring. Wells are the smallest of the three but still contain useful items, whereas caves are interwoven into Hyrule’s landscape and may lead you to a shrine. However, be cautious when entering a chasm because the way health works within them differs greatly from the surface world.
Take refuge from the elements in caves and wells. Entering a cave or a well can help you hide from both heat and cold, which is ideal if your resistance to these is low. You can always take the time to cook some meals to help boost your resistance if you have a Portable Stove.

Play around with Fuse. There’s a lot you can Fuse to your arrows, weapons, and shields, from precious gems to wagon wheels. We strongly advise fusing an item to any weapon or shield you collect because it will not only increase its durability but may also grant your item a special ability. For example, fusing a rocket into a shield will transform it into a makeshift jetpack.
Use the construction materials that have been left around Hyrule. As you explore Hyrule, you’ll come across piles of construction materials left for citizens by the Hudson Construction, such as wooden panels and wagon wheels. These materials are technically intended to be used to construct new houses for the kingdom’s residents, but you can also use them to construct vehicles to help you traverse the landscape. (Or machines of death.) Make a note of them on your map so you never have to go looking for supplies.
