It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Pokemon Scarlet & Violet gets its own DLC Expansion Pack since it introduces the ninth generation of Pokemon. Similar to Pokemon Sword & Shield of the eighth generation, the first installment of the Scarlet/Violet DLC is released months before the second.
The Teal Mask and the Indigo Disk are included in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet’s DLC Expansion Pass (The Hidden Treasure of Area). Both cost $34.99. You can get them both from the Nintendo eShop on the Nintendo Switch.
Depending on the region, The Teal Mask is scheduled for release on September 12–13, 2023. Why Players Expect a Global Release of the Teal Mask?
Since Nintendo hasn’t yet announced any maintenance to the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet online services, the only way to avoid that, Pokémon fans should hope for a global release of The Teal Mask. A staggered release could result in a conflict between game versions for online interactions.
According to a Tweet, The Pokémon HOME services are the only maintenance that has been made public so far. They will be unavailable starting at 7 p.m. CT on September 12 and won’t be back online for up to 24 hours:
Serebii Update: Pokémon HOME is to undergo maintentance from 00:00 UTC on September 13th until a planned end of 06:00 UTC September 13th.
Players will be given staggered log in times that can run until September 14th at 06:00 UTChttps://t.co/NWlAdn57aQ pic.twitter.com/wbJ1U8qfxW

Since leaving HOME open would potentially result in data conflicts in online interactions between players with and without The Teal Mask available in their location, this is another indication that the DLC may actually debut on September 12 for some regions.

The Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra, the two expansions for Pokémon Sword and Shield, were both launched simultaneously in all areas, which provides the final hint. This means that The Teal Mask will have the same outcome unless Nintendo and Game Freak decide to change their intentions.
