The DLC fighters for Mortal Kombat 1 have been revealed, and they include some notoriously vicious superheroes. A trailer from NetherRealm Studios that unveiled the Kombat Pack cast for Mortal Kombat 1 was released.
Three famous guest characters are included in the DLC fighter roster: Homelander (of The Boys fame), Omni-Man (of Invincible renown), and Peacemaker (of DC infamy). Three MK originals are also included in the Kombat Pack: Quan Chi, Ermac, and Takeda.
Mortal Kombat 1 Announces Peacemaker and Homelander
Homelander is based on Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s satirical superhero comic book The Boys. He is the captain of The Seven, a group of villainous corporate superheroes. The Boys’ popular live-action television adaption, available on Prime Video, stars Antony Starr as Homelander.
In contrast, the 1960s are when the comic book character Peacemaker first appeared. Peacemaker was developed initially by Joe Gill and Pat Boyette for Charlton Comics; DC eventually acquired the character. The feeling was memorably given to life in the 2021 DC Extended Universe movie The Suἰcide Squad by John Cena.

For the Peacemaker spin-off series, which debuted in 2022, Cena reprised his role. The superhero comic Invincible by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley is where Omni-Man first appeared. The Father of the main character Mark Grayson/Invincible is Nolan Grayson/Omni-Man.
He is first portrayed as the best superhero in the world, but he quickly reveals his true wicked nature. In the animated TV version of Invincible on Prime Video, J.K. Simmons lends his voice to Omni-Man.

Who Else is in Mortal Kombat 1?
The 12th main-series installment of the Mortal Kombat fighting game series, Mortal Kombat 1, will be released in September. The game is a reimagining of the Mortal Kombat mythos, as suggested by its title.
Baraka, Johnny Cage, Kenshi, Kitana, Kung Lao, Li Mei, Liu Kang, Mileena, Raiden, Rain, Reiko, Scorpion, Smoke, Sub-Zero, and Tanya are among the characters on its core roster. A pre-order bonus character is Shang Tsung. On September 19, Mortal Kombat 1 became available for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
