Wentworth Season 10 Release Date
There is no way to predict the release date of the show if circumstances change and order for episodes is placed. At this point, it appears quite unlikely that Wentworth will return for a tenth season, and even if it does, it won’t be ready for air until 2023 at the earliest.
No specific date has been given, although the deadline for entries is expected to be somewhere around 2021. Time will tell when Wentworth will return, and how long it will be before the entire series is available on Netflix for instant viewing.
Who is In Wentworth Season 9’s Cast?
Given that Season 9 will be the end of the long-running series, all of the major characters who are still living should get their day in the spotlight. You can therefore anticipate seeing inmates like Katarina Milosevic’s Susan “Boomer” Jenkins, Rarriwuy Hick’s Ruby Mitchell, Susie Porter’s Marie Winter, and Leah Purcell’s undercover cop Rita Connors.
Inmates might expect to see former officials like Vera Bennett (Kate Atkinson), Will Jackson (Robbie J. Magasiva), and Jake Stewart (Bernard Curry) once again. What Is The Plot Of Season 9 Of Wentworth?
Since this will be the final season of “Wentworth,” expect a lot of endings (but not without some dramatic twists and turns) when it premieres, possibly right where Season 8 left off. The most pressing plotline of Season 8 will most likely include newcomer and dangerous cyber-terrorist Judy Bryant and Allie Novak (Kate Jenkinson) (Vivienne Awosoga).
At the end of Season 8, Judy stabs Allie in the bathroom after using her power to kill a high-ranking US official with money she stole from Lou. Allie’s future will undoubtedly be a major plot point in Season 9. It would be interesting to see who stands up to Judy, despite her intimidating intensity because if even a fraction of her misdeeds is uncovered, she will be in serious danger.
What happens to Joan Ferguson, the series’ most archetypical bad guy, will likely play a significant role in the plot. Season 8’s finale hints that “The Freak’s” influence will only grow in Season 9, and she makes a significant return throughout the season. With Joan holding grudges against everyone, the last season of “Wentworth” is bound to be intense.
