Netflix has made the decision to no longer air the animated series Voltron: Legendary Defender. The eighth season of Voltron Legendary Defender aired as the series’ finale. Netflix currently has no intentions to continue airing the show. Everyone who heard the announcement was disappointed.

He was known as the champion among the slaves in the Galra Empire. He has extraordinary pilot skills. He is a born leader and has the ability to easily adapt to new conditions and situations. He seems to be a strict leader but he cares for his teammates. He is natural and calm.
- Kimberly Brooks as Princess Allura: She is the princess of the planet named Altea (an extinct planet). She usually holds a stiff and serious personality but occasionally she is playful. She was an alchemist, and a strategist, and has the ability to manipulate and channel Quintessence.
- Steven Yeun as Keith: He is currently working as the paladin of the Black lion of the Voltron. He used to be a Paladin of the Red Lion. He is a hot-headed guy and has a twisted personality. Since he was an orphan he hesitated while opening up in front of others. He only opened himself in front of Shiro.
- Jeremy Shada as Lance: He has a conflicting person. This makes him the most complicated person to be understood in the series. He is arrogant, cocky, and acoustic in nature but at the same time, he had a kind, friendly, and reflective nature.

Many different genres are represented, such as Action, Adventure, Science Fiction, Mecha, and even Comedy/Drama. In the series, there are five unlikely heroes and their flying robot lions. They end up being the last line of defence in a galactic war against an oppressive ruler. They band together to form Voltron, a being of immense strength that can protect the cosmos from harm.
