Victoria Season 4 Release Date Status: Renewal Status & Cancellation in 2022!

Daisy Goodwin is the brains behind the British historical drama Victoria, which stars Jenna Coleman as Queen Victoria and is produced and largely written by Ms. Coleman. PBS and ITV broadcast the eight-episode series in the United States and the United Kingdom, respectively, on January 15, 2017. As a part of the Masterpiece anthology, PBS provided development support for the show.

A Christmas special aired in December on ITV in 2017; PBS began broadcasting in January 2018 and the special aired in March. Following an eight-episode season premiere on PBS on January 13 and ITV on March 24, 2019, Victoria was renewed for a third season in December 2017. There were no plans for a fourth season when ITV announced in July 2021 that there were no plans for one.

Here’s everything we know so far about “Victoria’s” fourth season.

Victoria’s third season ended with a slew of loose ends. According to this, the show’s creators are already thinking about the next season. The release date for Victoria season 4 has yet to be announced. A precise release date is out of our hands because of this.

Season 4 of ‘Victoria’: What Can We Expect?

Europe is on the verge of an uprising, with the Chartist movement in London at its peak, forcing Victoria to flee for her life. There is a power struggle between Queen Victoria and Prince Albert as their partnership begins to fall apart. We also see London’s cholera epidemic and Lord Palmerston’s plot to overthrow the queen. After Prince Albert collapses in front of Victoria, viewers are left to speculate about what will become of him moving forward.

Until Daisy Goodwin has a significant impact on history, Prince Albert’s death is highly unlikely. There is a reference to the Great Exhibition of 1851 in the season 3 finale, and records indicate that the Prince will live for another ten years. Most likely in the year 1852 is where the fourth and final season of the series, which is expected to be its darkest, will take place. As Daisy Goodman predicted, it will be a violent and tumultuous time in London’s history, and a significant character will die.
