Other important characters from The Wheel of Time are making a comeback. That includes Siuan Sanche from Sophie Okoendo’s The Wheel of Time season 2 and The Dark One, the main adversary from Fares Fares. The Wheel of Time Season 2 Plot: What Will Happen?
It will tackle the issue of loneliness, according to the Fanology Twitter account for Prime Video (opens in new tab). That is understandable given that Amazon split up our heroic group in a manner reminiscent of the Fellowship of the Ring. Daniel Henney also revealed to New York Comic-Con attendees that season 2 will have more distinct storylines (opens in new tab).
The Dragon Reborn, also known as Rand, must first be found because he is now travelling alone after briefly defeating The Dark One. Rand sees himself as, well, everyone since the Dragon Reborn is a mythical, all-powerful channeler of the One Power doomed to save or destroy the planet. In order to prevent them from hunting for him, he asks Moiraine to inform his friends that he was killed in combat with The Dark One. The Dark One cut Moiraine’s ties to the Source, which is where Aes Sedai derive their One Power. Moiraine and Lan’s relationship will undoubtedly change as a result of her inability to channel her powers. The two rarely appear in the second book of The Wheel of Time, but according to Judkins, their next arcs will include entirely of unique material made just for the TV version since “you can’t sideline Rosamund Pike and Daniel Henney in a season of television.”

The Seanchan, a nefarious maritime kingdom with aspirations to invade The Wheel of Time’s main continent, were also hinted at in the season 1 finale. Judkins responded to Collider’s question on how they’ll make a *ahem* splash by saying: “Out of the first book, everything is following this conventional fantasy format. We really wanted the Seanchan to behave the same way they do in the play as they do in the second book, where they suddenly slap our people. At the conclusion of season 1, we receive a reference to them, but the Seanchan show up in season 2 and have an impact on the plot.”
The Wheel of Time season 2 Trailer: When Can I Watch It?
