The season 2 premiere will pick up with the fourth bout. In this round, Hercules meets Jack the Ripper, one of the most notorious serial killers in history.
The lethal match between the Japanese sumo wrestler Raiden Tameemon and Shiva, the third god in the Hindu triad, will go into its fifth round. Then, in round 6, Buddha and Zerofuku, the God of Misfortune, will do the same.
The second season will continue to faithfully adapt the manga’s plot.
Director Masao Kubo stated in an interview with Anitrendz that he never deviates from the manga’s storyline.
The director has stated, “I always had those who never read the manga in mind when I prepared the anime.”
I oversaw the adaptation to ensure that it stayed true to the comic. As I indicated before, I made an effort to preserve the aspects of the manga that held the most interest for me during my reading experience. Making the animation faithful to the manga was always a priority of mine.
The director has also mentioned that the original authors review the story, the character backgrounds, and the storyboard. The episodic format does, however, allow for some improvisation in the writing, particularly in the conversation.
‘The authors realised that manga and anime had distinct methods of presenting the same moments, so I was able to accomplish pretty much what I wanted,’ he said.
It would have been difficult to animate the manga faithfully since there are too many lines in the original. Despite my best efforts, I still heard grumblings from the workforce about how many lines I’d eliminated. I’m wiser for the experience.

When Will Record of Ragnarok Season 2 Release On Netflix?
It has been announced that the second season of Record of Ragnarok would premiere on Netflix in June of 2023.
