Nicolas Cage As Dracula In First Renfield Trailer: The first trailer for “Renfield,” a Nicolas Cage-starring Dracula film, has been made public by Universal. The Academy Award-winning actor, who plays Count Dracula in the next movie, may pique the interest of movie (and vampire) fans with his distinctive take on the character’s voice and appearance, but he is not the primary character. Instead, Nicholas Hoult, who plays Renfield, the Transylvanian count’s right-hand man, serves as the title character and protagonist of the movie.
Renfield starts as a loyal servant who progressively loses interest in performing Dracula’s evil actions. Love causes Renfield to reassess his attitude on life and his determination to continue assisting Dracula when a traffic cop, played by Awkwafina, captures his attention. Ben Schwartz, Adrian Martinez, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Bess Rous, and more actors are featured in the cast.

Renfield is presented in Stoker’s novels as a hallucinatory patient at an insane asylum who feeds living things in the hope that their blood will grant him immortality. However, Stoker eventually explains that these bizarre behaviors result from being brainwashed by Dracula.
Chris McKay, who also directed “The Lego Batman Movie” and its sequel, is behind the camera for “Renfield,” and Todd Lewis and Samantha Nisenboim are working as executive producers. Ryan Ridley, a writer for “Rick and Morty,” adapted a concept from “The Walking Dead” comic book co-creator Robert Kirkman for the script.

In an interview with Variety in December 2021, Cage stated that the comedic aspect of the film “makes it extremely entertaining.” And it’s a blast when you get that tone, which is humor and horror, as in “American Werewolf in London.”
Additionally, Hoult will appear in Robert Eggers’ “Nosferatu,” a remake of the 1929 movie unofficially adapted from Bram Stoker’s 1897 book. On April 14, 2023, “Renfield” will have its theatrical debut. The trailer is below. Follow Digitalnewsexpert.com for more updates.
