Fisher is curious to see Devi’s new relationships with her family evolve after the entrance of her paternal grandma in season 2. As she put it, “I want to witness how she bonds with her mother and continues to grow and develop and change.”
“It would be good if they were to rely on one another more. A wonderful actress (Ranjita Chakravarty) played her grandmother [Nirmala] this season, and she gave a whole new dimension to the show, filling up some of the space Mohan left behind. I’d like to see how her family has changed since we last saw them.”
