Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul Cast
The picture features Sterling K. Brown, who has won an Emmy, as mentioned above. Among the many roles for which Brown has gained critical acclaim are those of Christopher Darden in American Crime Story: The People v. O. J. Simpson, Reggie in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and, of course, Randall in This Is Us. These aren’t the first projects for which he’s been nominated for an Emmy; he also appeared in Person of Interest and was a prominent cast member on Army Wives.
Regina Hall, who is also quite funny, co-stars opposite Brown. Although she is most recognised for her humorous roles in films like Girls Trip and Scary Movie and television shows like Black Monday and Black-ish, the gifted actress can also turn in outstanding performances in more tragic roles. In Nine Perfect Strangers she plays Carmel Schneider, and in The Hate You Give she plays Lisa Carter, both roles that require her to take on more serious roles. (While we’re talking about Hall, we might as well mention that she has a role in the upcoming Kevin Hart movie Me Time.)
