The sequel began filming on July 18, 2022, with locations in Budapest, Abu Dhabi, Jordan, and Italy. As previously stated, filming will conclude in December 2022, barring any potential reshoots. Dune 2 Cast: Who Will Return?
The cast for the highly anticipated Dune sequel has been confirmed, featuring both returning and new faces. Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya will reprise their roles as Paul Atreides and Chani respectively, with Javier Bardem set to have a larger role as Stilgar. Other returning cast members include Rebecca Ferguson, Stellan Skarsgård, and Dave Bautista. Unfortunately, Oscar Isaac and Babs Olusanmokun will not be returning as Duke Leto Atreides and Jamis. However, Josh Brolin and Stephen McKinley Henderson will be back as Gurney Halleck and Thufir Hawat.
