Having a tier list of Brown Dust 2 characters and costumes at your disposal gives you insight into the optimal combinations to reroll. The game presently has 40 characters, and each character can wear one of three different costumes, which can be obtained for free through Story Packs or by rerolling gacha packs.
Only a few characters are available in narrative mode, with the majority obtained through the game’s gacha system. Our Brown Dust 2-tier list guide will tell you which characters and clothes to reroll.
Brown Dust 2 Character Reroll Tier List
I’ve divided the best Brown Dust 2 characters and costumes into three categories: S, A, and B. It’s crucial to note that this rating is based on the game’s global launch, and it will be updated as things change over the course of the game’s life cycle. Here’s a quick overview of the tiers and characters, go into greater detail below.
- S-Tier
- White Reaper (Justia)
- Top Idol (Helena)
- A-Tier
- The Destruction (Alec)
- Killer Doll (Lecliss)
- B-Tier
- Steel Engine (Rafina)
- The Sharpshooter of the Mist (Gray)
Brown Dust 2: S-Tier Characters
White Reaper (Justia)

- Story Pack: Knight of Blood
- Life Skill: Cook
Justia is at the top of our greatest Brown Dust 2 character and costume reroll tier list because, well, she’s a fantastic character who can be acquired very early in the game via the second story pack. Because of the genuine physical damage and her outstanding support skills, her best outfit is White Reaper.
Her primary strike is the Quarter Moon Jab, which is one of the most lethal techniques in PvE. Place her in the center or in front of your foes, and she will annihilate them all at once. Her support abilities, which heal her and all her teammates after each combat, also astonished me. As you can expect, it’s been really handy. However, because you receive her for free.
Top Idol (Helena)

- Story Pack: Gacha
- Life Skill: N/A
Although Helena lacks Life Skill and can only be gained through rerolling clothes, her huge damage reduction skills make her vital in both PvE and PvP.
Let’s Sing Together!, her main skill, reduces all incoming damage by 20% for four turns. This skill provides a protective shield to all teammates, which is very useful in the later stages of the story, when opponents become more difficult to deal with and appear in large numbers.
You can put her anywhere on the grid and she’ll do a good job. Top Idol is such a fascinating outfit that I would surely cherish it once pulled.

Brown Dust 2: A-Tier Characters
The Destruction (Alec)

- Story Pack: Gacha
- Life Skill: N/A
Alec is an excellent replacement for Justia, however unlike Justia, he lacks a Life Skill. You’ll have to be lucky with your Gacha pulls or you’ll never see him in action. Regardless, he is at the top of our A-tier reroll list due to his versatility.
Because The Destruction costume is primarily about devastation, I’d recommend putting him in the front row to optimize his damage output. His Raging Strike strike is lethal, causing actual physical damage equal to 200% ATK. He also has the ability to deal critical hits, making him one of the finest real DPS characters for both PvE and PvP.
Killer Doll (Lecliss)

- Story Pack: Gacha
- Life Skill: Revive
In Brown Dust 2, Killer Doll is the only tanky costume with the Taunt talent. Furthermore, Lecliss, like Helena, can protect her comrades, but she is slightly more expensive in terms of SP.
Both of her abilities work nicely together, taunting adversaries and defending teammates with Curse Replica and then recovering HP with Revive. This combination will benefit you in both PvE and PvP. Because I didn’t get her throughout the story mode, I’d retain her in case you find her in your Gacha packs.
Brown Dust 2: B-Tier Characters
Steel Engine (Rafina)

- Story Pack: Gacha
- Life Skill: Danger Detection
Rafina incorporates a variety of playstyles, including as AoE DPS, tanking, support, and trap detection. She can contribute to nearly any team in both PvE and PvP. Unfortunately, you don’t always need a specialist outfit like Steel Engine — but when you come across a band of jocks with barrier shields, she can really come in handy.
Her strongest ability is Machina Call, an AoE attack that deals physical damage in a cross-shaped pattern. It can be extremely powerful, especially early in the conflict when all adversaries are still alive. Her Danger Detection skill identifies and destroys traps, which can be useful in some matchups. If you pluck Rafina from your Gacha, keep her for those special occasions.
The Sharpshooter of the Mist (Gray)

- Story Pack: Mist Man
- Life Skill: Danger Detection
Gray is a fun DPS character who shares Rafina’s Life Skill. If you couldn’t get Rafina through rerolling, you can get this costume for free during the fourth story pack. Gray is also considerably more concentrated on damage than Rafina, who is a hybrid character.
His main ability is Triple Shot, which allows you to position him behind the frontliners and instantly do a large amount of damage to a large number of foes. Sharpshooter isn’t as tough as some of the other DPS costumes on our list, but he’s a good ranger and it’s free. Unless you don’t mind having identical costumes in your inventory, I’d recommend rerolling him.
