Armour Wars: Yes, Cheadle will finally be featured in his own superhero film after first joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2010 with his portrayal of Colonel James “Rhodey” Rhodes in Iron Man 2. Armor Wars Cast
The only other cast member announced for Armor Wars is Don Cheadle, who will play James Rhodes. Rhodey’s last appearance in the MCU was a brief cameo in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, where he had a conversation with Sam Wilson about the significance of using the Infinity Shield. Rhodey’s sadness over losing his best friend was evident.
Considering that the film’s title alludes to the comic book arc, it’s possible that Sam Rockwell’s character, Justin Hammer, will make an appearance. Hammer hasn’t been seen since Iron Man 2, so his return is long overdue.
James Rhodes:
