On May 12, 2017, to commemorate a year after The Bachelorette’s filming ended (and a year since Rodgers proposed to Fletcher), the couple sent poignant tributes to one another on Instagram.
“I’ve known you for a year, @jrodgers11 I adore the life we lead together—chaotic, it’s gorgeous and silly;) “wrote Fletcher. In a tweet, Rodgers wrote, “One year ago today, and even more my best buddy every single day #1yearanniversary.”
Fletcher revealed their plan to proceed slowly a month earlier. She told PEOPLE Now, “I’m enjoying being a fiancée and having him still court me for a long.” She said they would marry “when the time is perfect.”
