How Did Chris Beard Start His Career?

From 1997 to 1999, Beard worked as a student assistant at the University of Texas and a graduate assistant at the Universities of Incarnate Word and Abilene Christian in North Texas. As head coach at Fort Scott Junior College, he oversaw the program’s first winning season in eight years (1912) and a record of the team’s success.
